My Decks Scarlet was purchased at the 2006 Toomba Stockhorse Sale due to her lovely conformation and abundant athletic ability. Scarlet was lightly campdrafted  making several finals before being retired to stud. She is currently in foal to multi Supreme Champion Cadabra (AUS).

We purchased Alice at the 2006 Dalby Stockhorse sale and she was then drafted by Melissa in 2007 and 2008. Alice consistently makes finals and has achieved several places so far in her career. At the 2008 Paradise Lagoons Campdraft she scored 87 in the 1st round of the Rumevite Open missing the final by only 1 point. She is a full sister to Kellie Bond’s Bentley and, like him, she has a fantastic turn of speed and covers her cattle with ease. Alice is currently in foal to 2008 Warwick Gold Cup winner Chevin Ivory and will be brought back into competition in 2010.

Tanya was an excellent work horse who was ridden solely by an elderly lady and juveniles before injury caused her to be retired. She was only campdrafted once and went home with ribbons for the team penning and juvenile draft. Tanya is a very cowy mare and has passed this ability along to her progeny.

Clonmel Nikki was purchased in 2004 as a three year old before being broken in and used for light mustering duties. She is extremely intelligent with a bombproof temperament to go along with her impeccable bloodlines. She currently has a filly foal at foot by Acres Destiny and will be put back into work, with a campdrafting career in mind, once her foal is weaned.

Peppette

Little Peppy Q-4832 x Taffy

Peppette injured her hoof when she was three so was put straight to stud. She has been a valuable broodmare for us producing 4 fillies and 1 colt. Her eldest foal, Peppercorn, has been campaigned by the whole family for 10 years with countless wins in the juvenile and junior ranks. Peppercorn also has numerous 2nd placings in everything from ladies to opens, including 2nd place in the Novice at Georgetown with a then 15 year old Damien Bethel on board. Peppette’s colt, Sunray, bred several foals for us before being gelded, one of which is now showjumping with Gemma Creighton, daughter of Olympian Guy Creighton.

Genevieve is a classy campdraft winner who is out of an open mare. She was broken in as a three year old and won her first draft just 18 months later. She consistently finalled and placed throughout her career before being retired in 2001.

This mare provided many years of enjoyment for the entire Bethel family with the Rebecca and Melissa both winning Juvenile drafts as well as placing 2nd in Open drafts with John on board. She was bred to Kimridge Romeo Rush (Warrenbri Romeo/Kimridge Lady Di) at the end of 2000 which produced Roulette, a member of Melissa’s current campdraft team. Her 2008 foal is a filly by Knights Icon (Warrenbri Romeo/Homesdale Topsie) whom we anticipate great things from.
